Neate Marketing were asked to support Hallmark Hotels, a group of 28 UK three and four star hotels on their digital marketing presence and conversion.  Following build of a brand new website, the performance was on a downward trajectory on the previous year of over 15%.

Undertaking a thorough digital audit covering technical build, content, website navigation, data, email marketing, social, digital marketing and website layout, a comprehensive plan was put in place to reverse the revenue trend.  Within three months, the website performance started to grow year on year and by year end, the website had out-performed the previous year with conversion steadily increasing from 1.2% to 1.6%.

Across the course of 2017, the digital marketing focus was increased, database better segmented and a new booking engine and front end website deployed.  By the end of 2017, a growth of over £2million (gross) had been delivered by the website which equated to a 40% year on year increase. Conversion regularly topped 2% and the share of hotel rooms sold via the Hallmark Hotels direct website grew from 4.4% to 7.6%.
