Hi, I’m Debs, down to earth, direct, hard working and looking forward to helping you with your marketing dilemmas.

The majority of my marketing experience is within the hospitality sector where I’ve held senior positions for leading hotel groups such as QHotels and Macdonald Hotels covering their marketing across bedroom sales, meetings and events, food, health clubs, golf and spa.

But the marketing challenges I have overcome and the ideas I’ve put into play can be used across multiple sectors.  I’m systems-savvy and like to use data to make informed marketing decisions and track results maximising return on marketing spend.

I’ve worked with many marketing agency partners over the years and I can also be an advisor or support to any agencies who are pitching to hospitality clients or want a further, valuable insight into what the client challenges will be before an idea is pitched.

 

I’m passionate about the role that marketing plays in any organisation and making sure as many people understand that as possible. How you greet a customer when they first encounter your brand, how you respond to a complaint from a customer, how you interact with them on any digital platform, that is all about marketing and positioning. That’s why I’ve developed a marketing training programme for non-marketeers that can be developed to your organisation. It blends marketing theory with practice and can help foster team building too. When I’m not churning around new marketing ideas?  You’ll find me probably on Bristol Downs at Bootcamp, leaping around a netball court or entertaining my two little terrors; James and Elliot.
